Yes, this is not included in the standard price it is an extra service which we can quote for separately. If you are not fully trained and qualified, dismantling a garage can be dangerous, especially as some older garages contain building materials with asbestos.
We provide a service to remove and dispose of your existing garage. All garages are disposed of at a registered waste disposal site. All our removal quotes are inclusive of removal of all materials from the site and safe dispersal of any asbestos.
Yes, you need your concrete base to last for the lifetime of your garage so it is important that it's to the specification required.
No Unfortunately, the base needs to be solid concrete with a thickness of at least 4 inches.
Under new regulations that came into effect on 1st October 2008 our buildings (Garages and Sheds) are considered to be permitted development, not needing planning permission, subject to a number of conditions, such as maximum ridge height of 2.5 metres if it is located within 2 metres of a boundary.
