Battery Garage Information
What are battery garages?
A Battery garage is a set of two or more garages joined together which can come in both a range of sizes and shapes to suit any particular requirements you may have. Due to this practically every battery garage we make is unique and so to help ensure you receive exactly what you’re after we offer a free site visit in which an expert will come to your location and offer advice on the best option going forward.
Some of the key features of our battery garages are;
Forward Sloping roofs with integral or external guttering. This design is especially useful for areas that deal with heavy rainfall or snow. Integral battery garage guttering is constructed usually with the same material as the roof and provides a seamless look on the exterior, however it does require more maintenance as it is harder to reach for repairs and cleaning than the external guttering which is visible from the exterior.
Rearward sloping roofs with external guttering. A rearward sloping roof is a type of concrete garage roof design where the pitch of the roof slopes backward in the direction away from the eaves or the lower edge of the roof. This is the most popular design and is typically used for buildings located where the rainwater of the garage roof needs to be directed to the rear of the prefabricated garden building. External guttering is the only available option for rearward sloping roofs as the roof directs water away from the eaves meaning that integral installation is not possible. This does however make maintenance far easier.
Fully customisable length and width. We offer bespoke sizes for every situation. For details and specifications please reach out to us and we will be more than happy to explore your available options with you whatever size your project is.
High security options. We use high-quality, robust materials such as reinforced steel and concrete to ensure that the garage is secure and resistant to forced entry. The walls, doors, and roof are designed to be resistant to damage from physical force or tools. We also offer a range of secure locking mechanisms on doors and windows such as mortice locks, padlocks and key operated locks.
A 10 year structural guarantee. Your building is guaranteed for at 10 years with up and over doors having a guarantee of between 2 and 10 years.
Interlocking concrete garage panels. We use interlocking concrete panels on some of our garages due to their durability and strength. They fit together seamlessly and provide a secure, weather resilient surface. These panels can also be customised to fit any size or shape of garage units.
Extra drive through widths on up and over doors. We offer extra drive through widths designed to offer additional clearance for vehicles and easier access to the garage.
Plastisol Anti-condensation options for the roof. The main benefit of installing anti-condensation sheets is their impressive ability to reduce internal moisture and minimise the risk of damage to both the roof and any equipment.
Full project management. From site surveys to help you plan your garage project we also offer concrete base works and old asbestos garage removal.
For more details and information on the battery garages themselves you can reach out to us here or visit one of our several sites.
